A big, thin 4 inch blade in a lightweight handle. The handle is very large. It takes up alot of space in the pocket, but it is thin and light in the pocket, so it carries a bit smaller than it actually is. The blade is full flat ground, meaning its narrow and flat on both sides, kinda like a cook's knife. I know its called "Military", and some military folks likely use it to good effect, but the blade really does remind me of a big folding kitchen knife a bit with its thin flat ground blade and large lightweight handle. It does not have full metal liners, it is only partially lined, which contributes to the lightness - but would also lend to some weakness compared to heavier duty knives like Emerson. If you are looking for a knife to open paintcans, or bust out autoglas, this just isn't it.
